2. Accessing the website
When you use our offer, we automatically collect and process various data, such as:

So-called tracking pixels are integrated into the e-mails for the purpose and in our interest of being able to optimize our newsletter. This provides us with information about which browser and operating system is being used, which IP address is currently being accessed and, at the same time, who the provider is. Furthermore, it is recognized whether the e-mail was read and whether the link integrated in the e-mail was subsequently clicked and the respective website was visited via this IP address. 5. Geo-localization
For the purpose and in the interest of displaying content with a regional reference to your location, we process your IP address shortened to the geographical level of the federal states / regions. The geographical information obtained in this way can in no way be used to draw conclusions about the specific location of a user. 6. Your contact
When you contact us, e.g. via the application form or by e-mail, the data you provide (your e-mail address, your name and your telephone number, if applicable) will be processed by us in order to handle your request. We delete the data accruing in this context when they are no longer required for the aforementioned purpose, provided that the deletion does not conflict with any statutory retention obligations. 7. Data transfer
Unless otherwise stated in this privacy policy, we will only transfer your personal data to third parties if the transfer is necessary to fulfill our contractual obligations to you and this is obviously done with or together with another provider, we are otherwise legally entitled or obliged to transfer the data, or you have given us your consent to do so.
7.1 Provider for form creation Typeform
For the collection of data for the purpose of registration to the hy Freelancer platform, we use the service “Typeform”. You can find more information about “Typeform” at: https://www.typeform.com/. This service is provided by TYPEFORM S.L., Carrer Bac de Roda, 163, 08018 Barcelona (“Typeform”). The deposited data will be stored on the servers of TYPEFORM S.L. until the purpose for the processing ceases to apply or the consent to the processing has been revoked. You may request information about the personal data in question. You also have the right to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection and data portability. Your given consent to processing can be revoked at any time with effect for the future. To do so, please send us an e-mail. Typeform is used in the interest of an appealing presentation of our online offers. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Article 6(1)(f) DSGVO.
7.2 Database software AirTable
We use the database software “Airtable” of the provider Formagrid, Inc, 799 Market St, Floor 8 San Francisco, CA 94103, USA, to process user data, in particular the user’s applicant data, and to make the applicant data available to our customers if the user is interested in a vacant job. Airtable uses user data only for technical processing and does not share it with third parties. The following data is transferred to Airtable: user ID and public social media profile information (name, date of birth, gender, location, time zone, profile photo), chat history, navigation behavior (including chatbot usage data) and other data voluntarily entered by the user, such as, in particular, applicant data. In the course of processing applications, it may be necessary for us to collect additional data and also process it in the database provided by Airtable. We use Airtable to ensure effective and structured processing of the respective application data, which serves the efficiency and economic operation of our online offering (legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 (1) lit. f DSGVO). We have also concluded a contract with Airtable for the integration of their services and the related data transfer, which includes the EU standard contractual clauses. This ensures that Airtable complies with an adequate level of data protection in data processing (Art. 46(2)(c) DSGVO).
7.3 Newsletter provider MailChimp
We use the newsletter provider MailChimp to send the admission confirmation and, if necessary, to notify you about projects. MailChimp is an offer of The Rocket Science Group, LLC, 512 Means Street, Suite 404, Atlanta, GA 30318 (hereinafter MailChimp). MailChimp is certified under the EU/US Privacy Shield.
The data stored during registration is transmitted to MailChimp and stored by MailChimp. After registration, MailChimp will send you an email to confirm your registration. Furthermore, MailChimp offers various analysis options about how the sent newsletters are opened and used, e.g. to how many users an email was sent, whether emails were rejected and whether users unsubscribed from the list after receiving an email. These analyses are only performed on a group basis and are not used by us for individual evaluation. MailChimp also uses the Google Analytics analysis tool from Google, Inc and may integrate it into the newsletters. The transfer of data is based on the EU-US Privacy Shield agreement. This is based on the fact that the US company is certified under the agreement and thus guarantees that it complies with the regulations in the EU on data protection.

8. Storage period
