Sophie-Theres Guggenberger is Vice President Marketing and Communications and manages all press and public relations as well as all marketing and communications activities at hy. For more than 15 years, Sophie has worked as a digital, communications and marketing expert in the startup and tech industry. Previously, the journalist and political scientist worked for many years in a wide variety of newspaper publishing houses as an editor, product and brand developer before changing industries: from Rocket Internet, to Groupon, followed by ProSiebenSat1 and Rewe Digital – always as a creative idea generator, thought leader, doer and maker as well as communications and marketing leader. Sophie also worked for Cube Global, the industry network of Bayer, Dell, Messe Berlin, VW and the World Economic Forum, where she was responsible for PR and marketing. Most recently, she handled all communications, press and public relations, as well as content and brand strategy at the digital health company Medwing.
